We are aware that the appointment of a receiver to the Citywest Group has raised doubts in the minds of members of An Coimisiún about the feasability of holding Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne 2011 at the Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre. We wish to advise all interested parties that Dalata Ltd has been appointed by the High Court to manage the hotel, conference centre and golf courses as a going concern. We have sought and received assurances that contracts entered into by the Citywest Group will be honoured by the new company. On the basis of these assurances it is our understanding that the World Championships of 2011 at Citywest is secure.
