WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

We had an extremely successful 2006 World Championship which was held at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast. The event lasted 8 days and was attended by over 4000 competitors from 330 schools.

Glasgow has been chosen as the venue for the World Championships in 2007 and it is only the 2nd time the competition has been held outside of Ireland. The event will take place at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall from April 1st - April 8th, ending on Easter Sunday. The Concert Hall is Scotland's premier music venue offering the very best in classical, world music and popular entertainment, and is the venue for the world famous Celtic Connections Festival every January.
