REFUND OF FEES – OIREACHTAS RINCE NA CRUINNE 2020

A chairde

As indicated previously, the exercise of crediting all entry fees back to the credit card account from where they were debited from, started yesterday.  It is anticipated  that this procedure will be completed by Friday, 10th April 2020.

Entries are being returned in the order that they were received.  Where there are any difficulties in returning fees then the office personnel will contact the relevant teacher to make alternative arrangements.

As this is a very time consuming exercise, your patience in this matter will be very much appreciated.  The staff will not be able to investigate any individual enquiries into fee refunds until after the 13th April 2020.

Worlds Accommodation Notice 01.04.2020

STATEMENT RE. ADMINISTRATION FEE

Re       An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha
            World Championships 2020
            5th April 2020 to 12th April 2020
Convention Centre – Spencer Dock, Dublin

An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha refers to the statement posted on Saturday, 28th March 2020, in relation to the cancellation of hotel bookings made via Keynote for the World Championships 2020.

An Coimisiún maintains a strong view that a full refund should be made.

However, having exhausted all steps possible to try to resolve the matter and to avoid a situation which may not be finalised quickly or without considerable disruption, An Coimisiún regretfully takes the view that the best option is to accept the administration fee imposed by Keynote or transfer bookings to next year with no penalty.

An Coimisiún has come to this conclusion with great reluctance and under strongest protest.

We urge that everyone should consult with their travel insurance and credit card providers to see if any further comfort can be obtained from them.

All parties are advised to carefully read any further conditions before reaching settlement with the provider.

An Coimisiún will continue to closely monitor the situation going forward.
